Madness, Mayhem, and Fantastic Beasts. (an update)
Hi everyone!
Good lord, it's been an insane past few days. There's been madness (both because I am going mad and because everyone around me is going mad), there's been a whole lot of mayhem, and Thanksgiving was just a complete shit-show. I've been visiting family and friends over the past few days. Remind me never to go visit people while they are in the middle of divorcing... and moving... and trying to help said people move out of their current house into their new houses. I also was very very ill on Thanksgiving day and napped on a couch in the middle of a giant group of people for several hours, which was great. (Sarcasm). Anyways, I'm dying maybe a little but it's all good because I saw Fantastic Beasts! AND IT WAS AMAZING.
It was so good I could cry. The nostalgia hit me like a freight train when I sat down in the theatre and saw the Warner Brothers logo come up on the screen. Seeing a new movie and having it still be in that same universe... God, it just felt so comforting. It was like a warm hug. Also, Newt Scamander is an ANGEL. The movie was fucking fantastic. No spoilers here, just honest to goodness happiness about how great it was.
Hope everyone is doing well. I am heading back home tomorrow afternoon/evening because I have had quite enough of the chaos around here. Tomorrow I will be taking some time to catch up on the last few NGF fics that I haven't read yet (for my sanity's sake), and then trying to deal with a whole slew of other stuff.
By the way, as it was Thanksgiving just a few days ago, I thought I would take a moment to thank you all. Thank you for letting me burst in and join this lovely little community. I am already so thankful for the incredible people I've met. I wish you guys all the happiness in the world.
I'll stop being all sappy now,

The movie was honestly so amazing. I seriously loved it. The characters were incredible, the storyline was engaging, it was funny, dark, sad, and just lovely. Hope you'll be feeling up to seeing it soon! I promise it's worth the trip.

Sorry to hear things erupted into madness though :( I hope things will calm down for you again now that Thanksgiving is over, and you're hopefully having a quiet end of the weekend ahead of you. NGF is so good again, though, the fest always makes me so happy :) And almost reveals! I've got quite a few suspicions, and also some stories I'm DYING to discover who wrote it :D

It's okay. Honestly, it was just a heck of a lot more chaotic than I anticipated. I suppose holidays really never go as planned though, so what can you do? I arrived back home this evening. So, hopefully it will be a nice quiet day tomorrow. <3 Thank you for your kind thoughts! And yes, omg NGF is just so good. I adore so many of the fics. I cannot wait to see who wrote them!! Are reveals this coming week?
